I did it.  I’ve stumbled upon an amazing Automotive shop that cares about it’s customers, Antero Automotive car repairAntero Automotive is located in Greenwood Village and is worth the drive.

Searching for a great car mechanic that you can trust  can be a nerve-wracking experience.  Being a woman,I have been taken advantage of in the past.

An example of this is the duct tape that was put on some part under the hood of my car as a quick, cheap fix.

I know duct tape is good for many things but I don’t think it should be used to hold broken car parts together and charge me for a repair.

At the time,I was desperate and I trusted some random shop to fix the problem and not take advantage of me.  It did not happen.

After that bad experience,  I was worried about who could service my 1997 Nissan Pathfinder. I have not been into another mechanic shop for over 1.5 years except to have oil changes done.

 No longer.

I have discovered Antero Automotive and Andy Emery, owner/manager of this locally owned car repair facility.

Antero came highly referred to me by Centennial Auto Broker, Rachel Webb. Rachel sends all her fleet and used cars to be checked out and serviced by Antero Auto before selling them.

She raved about them to me and I decided it was time to bite the bullet and have my car looked at and serviced.

I  found reviews of them on Yelp.com.  It seems I am not the only one raving about their service.

Antero’s mechanics explained that I had not replaced my timing belt on my car since the 60,000 mile mark and that it was very old and in danger of breaking which could have ruined my engine.

They also told me I had very worn almost broken axles and a few other things that were  in need of immediate attention.

Andy explained that there were other items that would need to be looked at but could wait in case I decide to sell the car this summer.

I really enjoyed the way I was treated and talked to about my car.  I was not spoken to  in a demeaning manner which, believe me, has happened in the past at other repair shops.

If you are looking for an honest, reliable, great car repair experience I fully endorse the guys at Antero Automotive.

Thank you to Andy Emery for owning this wonderful local business.
